International Research with Children
Funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the International Research with Children project works in four countries to explore how children perceive other cultures outside of their own and to describe the role of books, libraries, technology, and culture in children's lives.
Funded by the NSF, the ICDL Communities research project works to enable communities of children to develop around the ICDL book collection by building tools that allow intercultural communication between children.
- Research Programs
Funded by a large number of concerned individuals and organizations, The International Children's Digital Library Foundation supports directly a number of research projects in Library Sciences, Computer Science and Education. This support provides the foundation upon which the Library has been built.
