I have recited some of these poems myself. The pictures and words are great ways to show Caribbean culture, especially the colors and the Snow-cone man.

I went through this book with my niece and nephew. Although none of us could read the words, my nephew loved the pictures of the kids playing and my niece said it gave her ideas for new games, which we all then played. Great fun!
