Harlem is about what it is like to live in the city. It talks about the wonderful things – like listening to music and playing baseball or basketball. The illustrations are also very beautiful.
The quiltmaker's gift

I loved the story of the king who found happiness by learning to be generous. He gives away all of his precious possessions and becomes poor. I like the part that says the king was good at being greedy but not so good at being mean, so he makes his soldiers save the old woman in the middle of the night wearing their pajamas. The illustrations are original – there is so much to look at on every page.
